I'm afraid the dietitian may have been a waste of time and money
I've sought help of a (sports) dietitian before, and she prescribed me a diet that she knew I'd follow because it resembled the veggie Mediterranean diet I grew up with. She just helped me fine-tune it for... sports. It worked. And it's still working, given how I've been following this diet to lose weight. But, it was years ago, and I thought I'd see someone in the neighbourhood for an update.
So, after requesting all those exams (result still pending), this new dietitian I saw gave me my first diet today. Wholegrain wheat? Gone. Dairy? Pretty much gone too. The fruits I usually eat? Can't seem to find them either. Instead, I'm supposed to drink the vegetables I've always eaten, thus proving I've had sesame with collards the wrong way my entire life... and I'm also supposed to have tapioca with chia seeds for breakfast with green banana biomass juice?
The fuck are chia seeds!? How's Green Banana Biomass Juice not a fucking Indie band!? My great grandmother didn't live to see me at her 90th birthday just so I could ditch the recipes she taught me just so I could waste good olive oil on raw yacón. Where do you even buy that?!
"Lira, you should've told her then!"
I TRIED... But she wasn't wearing a bra and I was too embarrassed nodding and trying not to break eye contact!

I could give you two simple tips but you'd probably wouldn't like it either.
1. Reduce your sugars.
2. Reduce your carbs (rice, pasta, bread, potatoes).
At first just keep a mental note every time you consumed a sugar or a carb. Then you start trying to think of substitutes.
Then make 1 change in your daily routine. For example I stopped putting sugar in my oatmeal.
Good luck

I hate when they put in ALL CAPS Passpprt# H1B/Sponsorship Visas Apply. I feel like developers deserve better than this. Absolute shit, I was recruited by a company that has its own recruiting. It wasn't a bullshit H1B job. This is a complete scam. Close the fucking border. |
LOL why?
