Huh, pretty accurately describes every person I've ever known to move to Asia.

30 000 a year in Shenzhen, and you can't even pay rent and eat.

Most of the successful expats here seem to be French,German (big time), Swede, Italian, even American. Canadians are generally a special shade of loser as well, however all of these demographics tend to at least try and learn a modicum of the culture and language.

The Brits seem to think they are conquering something, refuse to adapt, spend all of their time getting wasted and complaining in some expat pub. The ones working in Oil do ok, the rest just seems to be loudmouth scoundrels with no competency.

And Jenny...most people do fir that bill here. Not all though. There is a lot more money for the taking here than back home. My sister is about to ditch Dubai for here, and she holds a PhD in Economics from Queen's.

The losers make the rest of us look bad. God save the Queen.

The best thing is, they constantly complain about how shit England is (mozzies...blah blah blah), yet can't seem to find any bloody place they like in the world. Also: socks and sandals.
