Linguists from my theoretical background have no problem calling me Lira - it's how I introduce myself, and how I call myself under standard conditions for temperature and pressure. Yet people from the opposing theoretical background (including my current advisor) refuse to call me anything but Marcus.

So my history teacher plays pretty fast and loose with the accuracy of his facts. I'll correct him sometimes, but other times its pretty awesome to just get so much wrong.

Finishing up WW2 and he said Speer was acquitted at Nuremberg. So horribly wrong. He was the longest imprisoned member of the Nazi party, serving out his sentence well into the 1980s and was the last prisoner at Spandau. I just let it go. Far too tired this morning to make an ass of him.
