Hey all, I just finished building + designing my dj setup desk! I designed the whole thing in autocad. I went to the local steel yard and bought all the steel. I also ordered a custom size piece of glass for the top of the desk. I had a friend of mine weld it all together, and clean the steel with laquer. Then I placed the piece of glass on top and cleaned in with windex, and here's the final product! Im very happy with it! I am in love with modern furniture/design so just looking at the table with all my equipment on top makes me want to mix

is it really a good idea to put your monitors/speakers RIGHT behind your turn tables? doesnt the bass mess with the needles?

I havent turned them up that loud yet, but so far everything is fine. I am getting stands for the speakers soon I hope.
Hahah there is a deck right outside the window you just cant see it
The mixer is a shitty Vestax VMC-004. I am getting rid of it ASAP.

Im suprised you didnt add a shelf for the reciever or a spot to place records. Im sure your friend can lay some more welds if you get inspired. Either way its class....and because you didnt buy it built, its even better.

Compliments schafer on the overall look. It has a real classy feel to it all and the view seems to be great too.
