No, no, Portuguese and Spanish are really different languages. I had to study Spanish in school!

But some words mean different things in each language, there are only a few of them from what I gathered and then the slang of each language is where I would say the most differences are at.

I showed up, the ceremony went swimmingly well, the groom and the bride exchanged vows, I died a little inside when they started playing La Marseillaise and it turned out to be a Beatles song, and... yea, that's pretty much it.
