hehe sometimes peoples opinion changes....so are you telling me that I probably wouldn't like Lawler? I have never seen him live (something always got in the way!). I am askin for an honest opinion, because I could surely save my energy for armin lol
I know we have a difference of opnion in music but thats fine by me because every DJ needs its fans

i would dl his wasted promos from his website - it will give you a good idea what he is spinning now - he's definitely a house dj and not a minimal dj - but he clearly is incorporating some minimal sounding tracks in his sets. if you've never seen him, i would highly recommend him. he can definitely get a dancefloor moving - but if you expect huge build-ups and breakdowns in every track and lots of synths he may not be your cup of tea.

^^ no I understand already that this will clearly not happen (build-ups, etc)....I know he is not a trance DJ, and thats fine by me, I need a lil mix-up once in a while. I just would rather hear some house than minimal.

Ok well here is my review. Its not bad, I just can't see myself dancing to it. I couldn't even begin to try to figure out how. To me its more like lounging around kind of music. I like a bit more continuous melody/steady beat in my music whereas with this its seems a bit sporatic. I definetly like it better than house. But not as much as Trance and hard Techno.

hahaha - that's the same way i feel about trance - for me trance doesn't have any rhythm and i don't see how ppl can dance to it - it's all just these long synths and i feel like i'm on speed since it's played so fast. i agree that minimal can be more lounging around music and that it's definitely spun at a slower bpm - but for me it has a more steady rhythm and beat than trance.
but glad you give it a try - try some other sets and you may find some that you like it took me a while to like it too.
