It's actually changed in dynamic a lot now, there's loads of Scandinavians too. Maybe as many as anything else. Our hotel though was just british, irish and spanish.

Amazing- where is this? Looks a lot like Canary Islands or even Mallorca, and you being a brit increases the chances of it being either one of those tenfold.
I spent the millennium in Tenerife and it was fantastic. |
It was Gran Canaria. We could see Tenerife slightly when the sun set every night and if we'd have had a car to go inland to the hills you can see it clearly from altitude. Tenerife is the last big islas canarias on my list, done gran can twice, lanzarote 4 times & fuerteventura twice, plus mallorca twice, menorca twice etc.
Sadly though, the fun is being lost by hotels offering 'all inclusive' deals. Sure you don't spend as much and can eat/drink as uch as you want but some people never leave their complex and explore and it was so much fun to watch the spanish at work. Esp the one place that brought out rubber chickens, cows heads and other practical jokes for dishes.
