I work full time on this project, its just not generating revenue at the moment. We are attempting to remedy this situation because my business partner doesn't work full time on it, just part time and works another job full time. When we get some sort of funding for development he plans to switch to this full time and we plan to hire a couple more developers.
Believe me, I tried working on side projects when I was working full time, a number of them. It is harder than you think when your day job and your side projects involve the same work. Programming professional is very taxing, the last thing you want to do going home at the end of the day is sit down and write more code.
Also, if I have the option why would I make it harder for myself? If I wanted to do anything but program I'd have to go back to school, which would mean more money from my parents or from inheritance. Fuck that.
