That said, you shouldn't just select a label these days on whose hands they can get it into. You should shop your tracks to labels you respect and feel would market your music appropriately. In this day and age of the Internet, you want to find a label that will actually sell more than 5 copies and make sure it markets your music through all channels possible. Music is more of a promotional tool now. Finding a label that will help shape and mold the image you want to have as an artist is quintessential to your 'success'. |
Would you say lowbit is that type of label without a friendly bias? The most important thing is I love some of their work they're putting out, from the outside view, its something I would like to be a part of. If you take a look at my soundcloud, thats what the stuff im defining myself on; even though I started trancey, and have tried a lot of styles. www.soundcloud.com/msz . Anyhoo, lowbit is one of the labels im after, so Ill be sending demos. I dont expect anything, but if you could tell mr erik to keep an eye out in the dropbox for dat msz, would be killer.
