Although sitting here at your computer listening to armin spit out these tracks is one thing, I think being at this event(any event) kind of changes the atmosphere and how the track "sounds". Atleast for me it does, so I think its a little hard to translate what sounds good in your house vs what sounds good live.
yes no?

Definitely. There are tracks that you can only fully appreciate when you get the chance to hear them live.
At the same time though, fans who know their stuff and do go to these events don't want to be force-fed the tracks which have outlasted their shelf-life.
I think apart from the dodgy 20 minute spell in the middle, Armin has been the big winner of the day so far, again.

this I agree with but the question is how long a shelf life do new tunes have these days. In Armin's case with the huge anthems thats on ASOT 2011 as shown already some folk think they are overplayed and all are not even close to release. Its just cuz of the compilation and the fact he will be playing 5 live sets on the radio 5 weeks in a row so its easy for people to get sick of them
I wont be by the time Brabanthallen comes around thats all I can say. Maybe in 6 weeks or so then yeh! But until you feel those big tunes live its not the same.
