I've been working on this track. Its basically taken 3 distinct leaps towards completion. The first, an instance of a drum machine, synth and me on the microphone changing up the cadence and structure of the vocals (kind of repetitive, very little processing, except a nice reverb) http://djryan.com/tracks/Celebration.aif
Instance two, incorporates a bit more processing. Added vocoder to the vocal, fattened up sounds. http://djryan.com/tracks/Celebration2.aif
Instance three, chorus on the vocals, added another drum machine. New patterns to work in conjunction with the first drum machine. Lo Passed the Whip. Added New Bass Line (Open Res.) and Created Arrangement. (Still No-MixDown) So continuous loop with embellished points of reference (for mix down) http://djryan.com/tracks/CelebrationV3.aif
At this point, its pretty FAT sounding. Imagine being right in the middle of your set, room raging, and multiple decks playing. It's pretty heavy and that's where you'll begin.
Any feedback would be nice..
