It's almost as over the top as adverse event reporting in the pharmaceutical industry. Everything has to be reported if someone is in a trial, so if a plane lands on your head, that goes in the results.

I know right. I have a friend in PR who writes press releases all day for companies; some news articles are in fact covert advertising, and often completely fabricated.
