Lung cancer is responsible for 29% of all cancer deaths, and is 3 times as common as colorectal cancer. There isn't a multi-billion dollar industry that profits from the sale of a product which causes 85% of all colorectal deaths, as is the case with cigarettes and lung cancer.

Which set of symptoms sounds worse to you? Dying of cancer is awful no matter what type it is, but the symptoms of lung cancer for those who are living with it are far worse. Many cases of colorectal cancer don't even present symptoms until they're already end-stage, and some never present symptoms.
