on a side note, anyone know anything about digital/optical audio feeds? i.e. connecting your cable box w/ a optical audio out to your stereo's audio optical in? is it a noticable difference than RCA? my blue ray player has a singl RCA digital cable out (and stereo system has an "IN")...i've noticed that the blue ray sound quality is high for sure.

There isn't much difference, if any at all in this case. Usually I would say yes, but the audio coming from a cable box isn't that great to begin with.
