You know what, I actually didn't drink lethal levels of alcohol this time like I have in previous years so I'm not sure how much it has to do with this, but definitely some.
My liver is totally shot, levels way above normal. My white blood cells are all over the shop, virus has practically destroyed my bone marrow so I need to be careful not to catch anything else.
In other news, my cholesterol levels are fucking awesome. I couldn't suffer a stroke or heart attack if I wanted to
Also, my boss is awesome. She's like "Eh, don't worry about training next week, when you get around to doing it you most likely won't need it anyway so don't even think about it. Just stay home and rest, work stuff can be sorted later". |
good news about the cholestorol. bad news about mono. all i can tell you is that drink LOTS of fluids. i know it hurts to swallow (lol); but you've gotta do it. i wasn't drinking enough and ended up getting put in the hospital on an IV drip after i started vomiting up blood.
also, protect your spleeeeeeeen!
i never got cfs; i was just in a whole of pain in my throat. the tiredness came about week 3; and by week 4 i was in the hospital and whatever the fuck was in that IV drip got me better.

I will, but not in the next couple of weeks. Just need rest now.
Strangely enough, a mate of mine at school developed CFS after he had EBV, so same as you |
yeah sorry, i meant down the line
CFS= EPIC lose.
really distorted reality for me for a while. Interesting experience anyway
also, curious fact, i get bad-ass migraines (stroke level, including peripheral vision blindness, numbness and tingling in arms and face, and extreme limiting of cognitive function (can't understand ppl if they talk to me, and can't string a sentence together myself), and then all the normal headachey, can't look at light stuff), but had none in the time i had mono and CFS... now i'm better i started getting em again (only occasionally luckily)
they dont know what causes migraines, could be an interesting area of study... Get on it, drug person!
