I think it's prob gonna be more like, spinal cord injury type stuff, bleeds, seizures, aneurysms, etc. But still, ughhh. I never really took to neuro.

How far along into your program are you? Is it very competitive down there, as it is up here??

In May, but it's just the neuro component, and the module is 7 weeks long. I've already finished all the other modules (renal, respiratory, cardiac, GI, fluid + electorlytes/acid-base balance), and then in the fall I have to do a clinical portion in the ICU. Then after that I'll have to write a board exam and that'll be that.
I started the modules in 2012, just been slowly finishing them over the past few years while I was paying my student loan off. Realistically I could have finished the entire course in a little under 2 years if I took all the courses back to back, but having just finished my undergrad within the last 5 years, I get out of the academic mood pretty quickly.
I just can't stagnate, and I already work in a critical care area so I know the next logical step for me is the ICU, so I wanted to be prepared for that.
Plus knowing stuff is cool, lol.
