Yeah, that's not the kind of deathbed I had in mind

Speaking of deathbed...
I assume the Russians arrested the pirates first... Maybe...

I hate instagram with a passion that cannot be described. Just thought i would put that out there. Out of a few dozen people that post instagram pictures that i see in my fb feed, exactly one of them knows how not to overdo it, every other one oversaturats the pics so much that the colours burn into ones eye.
Except for one former professor, I can't say I care for anyone's instagram. And that's just because she's all-around awesome, so it's no surprise her pics are as amazing as she is

Well, when I saw my godmother die I was by her side and she pretty much just stopped breathing. It was quite peaceful, really, and that's why I said that. It wasn't unlike someone going to sleep, except she didn't snore. No gasps, no last words, no nothing. Had my mother not yelled in despair the moment she noticed it, I can't say I would have noticed.
So, no, Nou, I'm not talking based on Hollywood dramas
Yes, because all deaths are exactly like your grandmother's. Lol.

Fair enough, Jenny, although I just wanted to point out dying in one's deathbed it's not nearly as violent as being caught up in an accident, enlighten us and say what could happen to an elderly person in a bed that doesn't:
Sound like they had too many tacos before going to sleep;
Sound like they had too much wine before hitting the hay;
Sound like they popped one pill too many after an awesome night
... and went to sleep peacefully shortly thereafter.

Dying is often ugly and unpleasant, physically. Most people don't "die quietly" at all. Went to sleep shortly thereafter. How fucking stupid.
"Enlighten us". Fuck right off.

I think the point is made, dying in bed with everyone expecting it is better than being decapitated while driving a Ferrari and hitting a exit ramp median divider.
Of course, no manner of dying would be better than this (nsfw):

That's one way of putting it, yeah
Specially when (and this has been my point since the beginning

So they keep moaning even after they're dead!?

Ooh, feisty
I'm afraid this may fall on deaf ears but, what the hell, I've always been an optimist.
It's all right to disagree with people, Jenny, you don't have to insult anyone just because you don't see things the same way they do. I'm guilty of taking some pleasure at how easy it is to get you riled up (like I did with Coldplay), but you can't take even a mockingly formal post as an insult - you lose it too easily once someone's disagreed with you.
Now, for Christ's sake, woman, tell us what could be so horrid about people after they die in their deathbed! I'm seriously waiting for something as awesome as elderly people imploding after all their organs fail or something

I don't think it has anything to do with after they die, more the process of getting there.
I can completely see where she's coming from with this. If you're grandmother passed peacefully, that's wonderful, but I'm willing to bet this is not the common scenario.
