damn, too bad i won't be in Amsterdam for NYE ! sounds like a great event !
I will be in Vienna for NYE, so i hope they have something big on too ! I will be in Amsterdam around the 7th of January and hoping to get to some clubs to see what it's like compaired to back here in Melbourne.
Normal for NYE / New Year's day, we have a huge indoor / outdoor dance party for the 2 days that i've been to the past 2 years and it's always been awesome ! But this year i misses out , but i would rather be coming to Europe for a holiday in the snow !

A few friends and I will be going to Trance Energy 05 and wanted to know a few things. We are from the US and were wondering what airport to fly to (amsterdam?) and then how far is it to where the party is at? Also how big of a town is it where the party is? Should we get a hotel in Amsterdam and then drive to the party, or get a hotel near the party ?
Oh and does anyone know if the tickets are 2 people per ticket ? for Trance Energy 05 ? and where do I buy them?
Thanks, any other info since we are first time travelers to Europe !

Trance Energy is in a city called Utrecht
Thats about 30 minutes by train from amsterdam.
I suggest you stay in amsterdam because that is a more fun town. Also come a few days before the party or stay a few days afterwards. Checking out amsterdam is really worth it!
The fatest and easiest way to go from amsterdam to utrecht is by train. You don´t need a rental car or something.

Ever looked up information about the big summer partys in the Netherlands? Parties like Dance Valley, Mysteryland, Awakenings, Extrema are really great.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. We are going to stay for at least 3 or 4 days to check things out. Should I buy my tickets in advance? Or will there be ones available at the door? My friend says to buy them from ticketbox.nl ???
I haven't really looked into the other parties much... We saw a couple videos from Trance Energy and my friend is a big fan of Johan Gielen so that's why he wants to go to Trance Energy... It is one of the biggest parties over there right? Maybe there is a better one?
Thanks again, you guys rock! Can't wait to visit your country !!!

May be Johan Gielen wants to pay your tickets personally, since he doesn't have that many fans over here...

ID-T is going to stop with selling through ticketbox.

the party is quite big but not exceptional. It is about 25 000 visitors. Mysteryland has 50 000, Dance Valley 50 000 - 60 000.
In my opinion the big outdoor festivals are the best way to party. A huge variety of dj´s (from johan gielen cheese trance to Sasha progression to Luna´s Hardstyles to Dave Clarke techno). These festivals have upto 16 musical areas (outdoor and in tents), average of 160! djs.
Also it is the summer so people are happier, the sun is shining. And the crowd is very diverse!

Hi :D
Im still chearing about the fact that I will be able to go to trance energy 2005... but I dont know how to start preparing, how to buy tickets, hotels I can pay... the problem is I dont know the language and worse... I dont know the country... so I need besides the links... maybe a plan on how to do this...
also.. dont wanna bother anyone but since I dont know anyone Id like to meet up with you guys if you do this over there...
here in chile club scene sucks and djs are all prog house... main events have prog house and the same djs all over again... trance djs like me (ferry tiesto pv like musica btw) are few and e music is consumed rather than listened to here(me sad)...so I'd love to make my first Trance energy experience the best and meet people in sync, lear a bunch of stuff, spin maybe, and all. Ive been wanting this since I first heard trance. so please help, Ide be eternally greatfull.
Important first question, TE2005 site is not en english.. where can I buy tickets?... also.. does the event have like a travelers package or something? (like I've heard some event do have)
