and come on sly, why the fuck do you think i come here. i mean seriously. I came here 8 years ago because i was into trance, loved it, saw it as an upcoming genre and wanted to dl as many sets and as many free videos as possible. I registered on the boards after a few months to meet new ppl and grab other resources from other users. with my quick wits and schoolboy dont give a fuck attitude i became a well known name around here. i found out i could make ppl crack up very easily if i played off the vividboy persona. years passed so did my liking for edm. but i still came on to here because i enjoyed posting and cracking jokes and reading funny ass posts i couldnt find anywhere else on the net. I got to practice new lines i use in real life, and met alot of users as the years progressed. I made quite a few good friends out of this site in the toronto area, people who shared similar interests outside of the site, and even tho alot of them no longer post, we still go out and share those interests, like soccer etc. I made good friends with the owner of the site and drove some business to this site and supported whenever i could.
I stay here nowadays because I have become a fixture to the ta community. Ive tried to retire vividboy but I always get dragged back. the truth is i like it here slylee. I like reading the posts of users, i like the fact i influenced an online community, I like the fact I go out places and have people recognize me (yes i do like the attention) and I like some of the people I have met through this site.
This site has grown alot further then just a place for ppl with the same musical tastes. This is a community now.
I don't need this site to make friends. I have lots. I don't need this site for attention, im a smart good looking guy with the world in his palm. I went to DEMF because i havent been to a electronic music event in years. there were a few sick hip hop djs i wanted to catch so i thought what the fuck, I will go and finally meet the many people i spend so much time trying to make laugh. I am glad i did. the festival itself I didnt have fun at but the tas i met were incredible
