Described as “The DJs, DJ” Anthony Pappa truly is a master of his craft and one of the most respected and revered DJs on the international circuit. After a couple of years focusing on gigs at the best clubs on the planet, in 2008, Anthony has turned his attention back to producing music. He’s set up his own label, Red Light District, home to his first original track in quite a while – Outback – released back in March. And just last month, Anthony released the triple CD “Moments”, internationally, which finally gave him the scope to dig into all four corners of his record box, and demonstrate the scale of his appreciation for electronic music.

Adam Helliwell was what you might call a late bloomer to DJing.... During his time at the university, Adam was inspired by sets from Oakenfold and Sasha during the hey day of Cream. Early gigs included Blessed @ Gatecrasher, The National Centre for Popular Music in Sheffield, and the ubercool Mello Mello bar in Liverpool. He was then headhunted by 3 Beat, one the worlds leading suppliers of underground dance music. He now resides over the techno/tech house and breaks departments (a genre that 3beat did not specialize in until Adam joined the team). Working at 3Beat has allowed Adam to serve many of the djs that first inspired him to become a dj such as Sasha, Digweed and Danny Howells.

Join me this coming Monday May 26th for Episode 010 of 'The Progressive Showcase', exclusive to http://www.sense.fm. For this week's show I'm very fortunate to be welcoming another very special guest in the shape of DJ/Producer Freesoup!

Having started DJing in 2001 & having explored a range of styles from hard style techno right through to deep house Freesoup has forged a thoroughly individual DJing identity & developed a truly unqiue style. Gaining his first residency for Fuse in 2003 & going on to play across the north of England for leading nights such as Gatecracher & Inside Out in cities such as Sheffiled, Leeds, Newcastle, York & Glasgow Freesoup has seen his profile steadily rise. Freesoup's breakthrough production 'By Default' was also a massive hit, scoring 'Tune of the Week' honours on Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance show back in 2007. Combining a packed gig diary & busy production schedule with resident & promotional duties for Leeds based night 'Blank' Freesoup's profile is definately on the up.

It's a real pleasure to welcome Freesoup to the show, his guest mix will be broadcast during hour two of this week's show. Expect to hear a perfect fusion of tech-house & progressive during the second sixty minutes.

The opening hour, as always, will be taken care of by myself. Expect to hear the usual blend of progressive goodness. Live tracklistings & details will be made available Monday afternoon in preparation for the 17.00 - 19.00 (BST) broadcast. Hope that some of you can make it!
