No. Being comfortable = not being so concerned about your looks.
By the way, just before we discuss this any further, I work out pretty much every day. However, this is not something I do for my fiancée — this is something I do for myself (being a narcissist and whatnot ), so I'm not talking necessarily from experience here.
However, I can't see how dating a fat person could possibly be an indicator that the relationship is going bad or that "the spark is gone from the relationship": if a person is fit or fat matters very little in the long run. Should it be otherwise, imagine how dreadful the relationship between older adults must be like...
"OMG, her breasts are sagging and my skin is flaccid. We're no longer apexes of human hotness, halp!"
Edit: Why do you care if other people are fat or not? If Jimmy is the way you want, and other people don't mind how obese their partners are, why bother?
