LOL, i really have to change that name.. It was a piss take among friends (being Irish we say Savage Stuff quite a bit) but never ended up changing it.
Which number did you download? 05? 01 was the first set i ever recorded.
Going to change the name and create a new website for 'em. Just not sure what i should use to create the website...
Thanks though. Pretty much have identical setup to you just different versions of everything (bar 92) MK 3D techs, older MBP, TSP (and i have the Fader Fox DX2, which is a great little unit)..
Meant to ask you, did you make the stands for the monitors yourself? They're at a perfect height (done on purpose i'm sure) but i've never seen stands so tall! |
It was 05, nice tracks and good mix, its in my iphone now
Yeah i saw your stuff and it looks very good. I had the older mbp but wanted the mb because its lighter and takes little space when im out on gigs.
Right now i have Serato and refused to give it up because it works so stable wherever im playing, it has never caused a single problem with vinyl or cd, but TSP has caught my attention cause of the fx and looping. I want a reverb and some delays but thats it. I dont like the interface of tsp though, very confusing and "windows stylish".
But if i get TSP im gonna get either Faderfox DX2 or XONE1D. I think its maybe easier with DX2 cause if its small size, out on gigs
About the monitor stands: Samson MS200, they are perfect! They can even be set at higher height if you want to. I bought them from a Swedish dj store called www.djservice.se. If you mail them maybe they can help you, the only cost about 90 euro. Its alot cheaper than many other stands ive been looking at.
Good luck mate!

Thanks! I think I pretty much have everything where I want/need it. Just need to upgrade to CDJ1000, but not currently a priority

I just do it exactly the way I enjoy listening to it. This is most of the time it is with banging beats. It is even with a soft thing, a soft melodic idea, or whatever. I still like to have it rocking. Keep in mind what this music is made for, first of all. Its not made to be easy listening on the radio. Its not made to be easy listening in television. Its actually kick ass in the club. This is what music is. This is the purpose of this art form...to listen to it and let the frequencies actually blow you away. --Paul Van Dyk
