What I would have given to see them test some of those high yield shots out in the pacific. The pictures I can't imagine even do them nearly enough justice to the spectacular nature of the event!
They should have used the real Tsar Bomba footage. None of it is that good, but the effect is even more amazing when you realize that the explosion was so large that none of the cameras could get it all in the frame at once!

The discovery channel (or maybe history, don't remember); had a really great documentary about the development of the atom bomb; and showed a lot of videos from the Bikini Atoll islands. was pretty impressive.
