Theo Evangelatos, aka Psychowsky, was born in Athens, Greece in 1975.
In 1990 he was seduced by the sounds of Techno, House and New Beat.
Becoming a devoted follower of electronic dance music, Psychowsky started
to experiment with the genre as a producer. Drawing upon a wealth of
experience composing and producing local record productions, television
spots and short motion pictures, Psychowsky is now producing and remixing
for record labels such as Deepsessions Recordings, Bellarine Records and
Liquid Surface Recordings. With a distinctive sound that is simultaneously
melodic, emotional and aggressive, Psychowsky is poised to become a
household name in progressive house.

'SASHA BIOGRAPHY'

DJ/producer/remixer SASHA is recognized as one of the worlds' most innovative icons of the electronic genre. He propels listeners into the future of electronic music by constructing innovative and forward-thinking concept albums (Airdrawndagger, Involver) and live events (Delta Heavy, Fundacion) that blur the boundaries between artist and DJ.

Refusing to limit himself to DJ work, Sasha has continually explored his various interests as an adept remixer, songwriter, and producer. He established himself as a formidable, in-demand remixer by reconstructing tracks from an incredible array of artists such as Depeche Mode, Madonna, Seal, UNKLE, The Chemical Brothers, BT, Thom Yorke, and Orbital.

Along with a never ending tour schedule, Sasha was once again busy in the studio releasing four original singles on his brand new label, 'emFire', scoring the soundtrack for the surf film New Emissions of Light And Sound that went on to win the Best Soundtrack Award at 2008's X-Dance awards, and completing Invol2ver, the follow up to his Grammy nominated album Involver. Invol2ver's worldwide release also contained exclusive Sasha remixes of such renowned artists like Thom Yorke of Radiohead, Ladytron, Apparat and M83 along with new original Sasha tracks featuring Ray LaMontagne and Adam Parker.

This month features a guest mix by Sven Hauck.



Born in Germany and currently based in Amsterdam, Sven Hauck traveled
frequently at a young age; by the age of ten he was immersed in the cultures
of Europe, America and the Caribbean. Music was Sven's one constant, and
with influences ranging from Skinny Puppy to Pink Floyd, Sven built his first
music computer in early 2000 and strung together some rudimentary sounds.
Years later, Sven's first collaboration with Nasir Ansari, titled "Get Down", was
played on the Delta Heavy Tour by Jimmy van M, validating his instinctual love
for making music. Soon after, Sven collaborated with dance music legend Medway
on a series of tracks that gained support from the likes of John Digweed, Hernan
Cattaneo and the Flash Brothers. This year, Sven has seen his collaborations
and solo work land on labels such as Babylon, Baroque, and Pure Substance
Digital, and with more work in the pipeline, 2010 is shaping up to be another
great year for Sven and his sought-after production work.
