What could "attack" mean in the context of crop growth?
(I know gardening is different from hardcore land cultivation, but I'm hoping the vocab is similar)
Like "The absence of attack the beginning of the harvest allows the plant to develop all of its germinative abilities" |
Mostly that's used in the context that the plant seedling gets attacked by fungus, usually because its too cold/wet and if its bad enough the plant will either die or have its growth retarded from the poisons, secondary bacterial infections. Happens mostly with legumes, root vegies and bulbs.
