I really like the looks of the Denon X1500 (Can get it very cheap from a friend of mine, 2 months old) Or maybe the Ecler Nuo.
But is still don't know exactly. Denon = cheaper and surely good enough for some home-mixing. I won't use it on the road. Everywhere i go there is mostly a mixer (dateq) available.
Denon means : less money and still have money left for some good dj furniture..
Ecler means : shitload of money and leave it on my desk for another 2 months |
Nice man, I actually have the X1500, and fuckin love the thing, I also had the option of buying the Ecler for the same price but decided I can do more with the X1500, I've had it for ages, learned how to do things other mixers can't and I still haven't fully learned how to use it to its full potential, and theres also the fact Denon will more than likely be adding a bunch more effects to the unit in the future threw upgrades, I always recommend people try both the X1500 and Nuo5 out due to people being different, you can't go wrong with either one, but I think for your situation you should go for the X1500, it won't let you down.
I didn't consider money when buying a new mixer, I would of got the Xone92 if I wanted it, but the X1500 allows me to do more, and I can spend that difference in money on the EFX1000 when it comes out.
EDIT: lookin DAM good Tegu, hope your enjoying the mixer with the updates, did they go smoothly?

I totally agree with you. I've had my X1500 since October (thanks to DJ Tranz for the hook up) and each and every day I love it more and more and more. It truly is an excellent mixer.
