imagine watching this short movie on the big screen. most likely 50% of the audience would leave halfway through the movie, because they would think it's boring, 20% would fall asleep, 25% would run out during the credits not really grasping the concept of the film, and 5% of the audience would sit throughout the whole credits just to watch in awe what type of movie it is. |
someone explained it best when they said it's meant to be experienced not just watched. To be honest I still have not watched all of them at one sitting. But that's because I'm at home with a lot of options but I been a deep Lynch fan for 9 to 10 years now, if I went to a theater to see this... I would be in the 5% that would stay to the end. Look into The Straight Story by David Lynch, it's different than any of his other works, it's more heart felt than weird and disturbing like most of his movies are, to put it simple it stands out from all of his other works
