Mind sharing the difference with us? Im quite familiar with the technical differences but while putting the 2 side to side, other than the pitch and metal rim'd dial, they are identical play wise imo.

once you have both players side by side, the differences will start popping up. nothing tooo major, but for instant the loop feature on the mk2 is soo much better. instant loops compared to the 1000 where you kind of have to wait a beat. kind of hard to explain.

nope - not modded. its probably because that was a long exposure pic with no flash.

Cant find the pics/sites i saw
though one other mod i saw from somewhere else was the DVJ X1 platter on a CDJ, that was awfully cool
