Makes you wonder - if you're being paid to do a job, how hard is it to do it properly!?

If you're a courier, apparently it's very fucking hard. Don't get me started on couriers again

You know, I think it's a trade-off. We always think of Fedex and UPS around here as extremely efficient, but it seems like their couriers can't get any worse; our Postal Service, despite the monopoly, has awesome couriers as far as I know... they're just overwhelmed with work sometimes and the service is really really slow.
Edit: I meant to say that's how we see Fedex and UPS overseas. They don't operate in Brazil in a large scale.

Lira stop. Stop rationalising it. Couriers are shit, end of discussion. Useless ****s.

I've never had any problem with delivery people here. Things always seem to be on time and intact.

Hate to tell you this, Fledz, but it's the same he-- wait, on time!?
Can you schedule when you'd like to receive a package or something!?

Sure you can. "I would like to receive it some time this week, please".
Doesn't fucking work, of course

Well when you order something it'll say like 5-8 days or something, but then you get a confirmation number so you can track it while it's on its way. So it'll say something like "arrived in Rochester, scheduled for delivery tomorrow" or something like that. Also if it's something you need to sign for they leave a note on your door that you can sign and then they just leave it there the next day. I think they try like 3 days in a row and if you're never there then you have to pick it up from the local office.
If you pay more you can also request like 2nd day or overnight shipping. That's pretty much always on time.
