So I got a new job.
Right now I'm basically an assistant executive assistant. Lots of sitting around waiting for stuff to do with the executive assistant. However, once the company gets me some information I'll be working in my official role as an eLearning Implementation Consultant.
Hours are crazy right now (12 hours a day) but luckily it's just because one of our clients is doing their digital patient records go-live this week.

How do you pluralise nouns in the target language?
In Portuguese I'd write BlackBerrys in a heartbeat.

Source = French
Target = English
I'm just going to go with "BlackBerry smartphones"
I don't think it's appropriate any other way in written English.
Plus, the French texts say "les produits BlackBerry" and "les téléphones mobiles BlackBerry"
While there is usually a way around using such compounds in English, I think I'm going to be safe instead of creative here.

I don't understand what you mean by 'a way around the compounds'? What you wrote is as exact a translation of the expression as you'll possibly get. If you got any more creative you'd sound like babelfish.

I don't think there's much of a leeway for you to be creative here - you can't pluralise BlackBerry when it's part of a larger noun phrase.

I mean that a lot of times, in English, a product name can become a noun that can simply be pluralized.
I remember once translating "pansements adhésifs" as "band-aids"
Translating it as "adhesive bandages" is not idiomatic in English. It was a pamphlet for the general public with a casual register and saying "adhesive bandages" would not have fit at all.

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ride the bus to the train ... and I *think* my metro card was working fine @ the bus - the bus driver didn't tell me that it wasn't working or something.
I go to transfer to the train and my Metro isn't working. It's a freaking 30day unlimited one!!!!! So I had to go and buy a new one until I fill out the form and mail it in - then, my CREDIT CARD isn't working either.
Wtf could have fuked up the magnetic strips in my purse????????
It worked fine yesterday! ;[[[[[[[[
I need to check if my other bank card is working... I'm scared to try.
