And LOL at Vivid
5DMkI (argh want the MkII so bad, or at least a 7D for video, 7D is better for that I guess). Most of those were shot with the Canon EF 50mm F/1.8 and cropped down a lot. Some of the last ones were shot with the Canon EF 24-105mm IS F/4 L.
To vivid, sorry, I reject your valentines, but apparently the center from Avana's tranny basketball league will have you.

That f/1.8 must be nice.
I got the 5DmkII last year, along with the 24-105mm. Love both of them.

Its the MkII sadly, the MkI was a full metal body and really nice, but it goes for like 400$ or something on e-bay used last time I checked. The MkII is like 70$ new.
I guess its fine, when its that cheap you don't really worry about it getting damaged too much, and its fast as shit.
Though its a prime so two-legged zoom ftw (which I need to do more of, I get too comfy taking shots from afar with my 105 and 200).

Yea thats TM citric_acid right there.
I love primes as well mainly because when I have a zoom I tend to ignore the middle of the zoom and all my shots end up wide open or cropped in... A prime, at least something like a 50 forces me to shoot at something I normally wouldn't.
Plus it makes you jump fences and climb bridges (two cop cars rolled up about 2 minutes after I climbed down from the bridge to get the Amtrak photo haha).

i used to love primes and have quite a few of them, then i got into pet photography.... i cant dive forward and run backwards fast enough to use a prime anymore... so i sold them and bought my 7d with the money... should get some new ones now though, i do miss the limitations it gives you and the sharpness
