I can't help thinking sometimes when I'm at a restaurant and eating, "How many disgusting mouths has this fork been in before mine?" Then I start to imagine shit like old ladies with crusty mouths, disgusting fat black women chowing down on greasy chicken fingers, and red necks who have herpes and chewing tobacco in their teeth eating from the same fork. It's not very conducive to a good dining experience.
What kind of restaurants are you eating in, where the cutlery has been though all that?

Good question. I guess those thoughts don't come across my mind if I'm eating in a 5 star restaurant... just at the regular chain restaurants like Chili's or something.

Wow, irrational paranoid fears are a republican thing I guess...
When I eat I tend to trust that the HEALTH department (you know a government organization) has established that the restaurant is safe to eat in, which usually (read always) includes washing their silverware and cutlery.

Where is the dumb in that?
I am saying you are irrationally paranoid, maybe even suffering from OCD or some sort of phobia if you think about these sort of things (and anyone else that gets grossed out by them).
Its a pretty stupid thing to think about, let alone worry about at all.
