Wait Michael Cera's character was awful? I didn't get that at all. 'Splain yo' delf. | he was a pathetic whinny kid who falls in love which is the same character he has played in Juno, youth in revolt, superbad, and paper heart. And for some reason, he just rubs me the wrong way each time. Don't get me wrong, I liked to watch those movies, his pathetic nature was funny but it was also annoying. Every time he's in a movie you can rest assured that he will like some girl and not be man enough to do what it takes to get her for 3/4's of the film, and he will finally grow a pair and do something about it by the end. But, his dweeby nature looses some of its charm each time he portrays the same role and I feel that it was during Scott Pilgrim that the tipping point had been crossed, he just simply annoyed me and I will not be eager to rush into the next film where he plays the dweeby love struck hipster. Some people find it endearing and I wouldn't argue with that, I am just not one of those people.
