GI Joe is horrible...probably the worst movie I saw all summer.
I just watched UP and I must say, Pixar and Disney are really great at making stuff aimed at kids and adults. It's a sad movie as well but really funny and enjoyable in the end. Very uplifting movie, I cried 2 times surprisingly. What made the movie great was the beginning, it's amazing how the director was able to tell a whole life story in 10 minutes, literally. The soundtrack was the best feature of the film imo.
Even my dad who doesn't normally cry in movies said he cried.

went to see Orphan last night.
on the downside, a bit too long (2 hours) to be a horror flick, but to be honest, the last 45 minutes of the movie was very pleasing. Not a very bad movie, but not a good movie either. I consider it one of those random movies to watch when you're in the mood to watch something real cheesy. i give it a 3/5

i wanted to see this last night, but backed off when i saw this was a 2 1/2 hour movie, and wonder wtf. since when did adam sandler and seth rogan ever do a 2 1/2 hour movie ? i'm sure it's a good movie, because i am a fan of adam sandler's movies since the 90s.

Apparently this is nothing like a typical Adam Sandler movie. It's supposed to be good

I really liked Up too, took you across a span of emotions. I thought the beginning was pretty brave, since they risked losing the interest of the kids in the audience, but they really picked it up after that. Pixar & Disney are doing a great job lately.
