No, that would be stupid. If the end result is a positive outcome, then being disrespectful is a necessary evil. One of the biggest drawbacks of western culture is the fact that people are so afraid of voicing their opinion. |
Dude! ARE YOU JOKING? That's one of the biggest drawbacks of Western culture - every tool, dick and hard-on thinks he has the right to an opinion. Every blogger, every twatterer, every facebooker. Even offline, modern education has dissolved traditional class divisions and taught people that their opinion matters, and people like to make use of it, always. I don't see how you could think otherwise.

Hmmmm.... I get your point but I don't entirely agree. It's very easy to voice an opinion that way, but it's much more difficult when the topics are serious. Relationships with partners, friends or family, or workplace honesty is completely different to voicing your opinion about the latest music craze, or the current news trend and so on.
It's easy to voice a public opinion when there really is no major drawback, but much harder when it can directly affect you.

People should be fit to make their own decisions. Knowing that a woman your friend is dating had sex with a few other people is simply not enough to throw a wrench into the mix, no matter how close you are to the person.
Chances are, you've had sex with a few people, your friends have, your family has, you significant others have had...and so on. People fuck, and nothing in this case dictated at all that she would have something. If the guy doesn't protect himself it is his fault in the first place.
Let people chose how they want to be happy, even if you have an opinion that differs. Don't give yourself that much importance, because it is naive and self centered. How does who your friends fuck affect you?
Think about it paco.
