I like the foam. It's good for nasty reflections and echoes but shoudn't be used too much if there's no treatment for lower frequencies.

Yes, it's Behringer MX2642A mixer. ATM only used as volume control for speakers (through 2 track return), headphone amp, and playing synths when computer is off. All the cannels became very unreliable after a minor accident with cola... So I don't record through it. Also seems to somehow color the sound.

Thanks LENG! I tried to make the desk as confortable and usable as possible. It's actually inspired by the desk of some of my favourite producers
BM5A's yes. I chose them over Mackie HR624's and some others at the same price range. You won't be dissapointed. I never believed in any burn-in period for speakers before but I do now. The sound will get even better with time.

one thought: on the pidtures your monitors seem to stand pretty close to the wall, this may cause sound problems.
