Did that come out early by you? Doesn't release until Jan 8th by me.

I like the mountain man/frontiersman era. If you haven't seen it already try the movie Jeremiah Johnson.

Going to see The Hateful Eight (70mm Roadshow Version) tomorrow... clocks in around three hours without the overture and intermission. Tarantino claims the lenses used, also shot Ben Hur.

Also heard the reels weigh in around 200lbs.

Thanks, some say it's the best movie of the year, I just don't know which year they meant

Definitely can't wait to see The Revenant! Might be the best nature/mountain man type movie since Jeremiah Johnson.

Oscar season = DVD screener season = leaked DVD quality rips of a lot of movies not reached the big screen yet.

The Hateful Eight was pretty entertaining, a little long maybe, but definitely a Tarantino film. Goggins, Russell, Jackson and Leigh all do a good job and are well casted.

The Revenant was OK, definitely not as good as the hype it received. Very simple story that was quite drawn out, probably longer than it should've been. The bear deserves an Oscar.

The director's older movie, Amores Perros, was far better.

Watched Sicario, which was pretty good too. Not amazing, but worth a watch.

The Big Short also very very good, especially if you're into finance.
