Actually, it's a marvellous book and I'd eagerly read any future works, despite the fact that I'm a bit annoyed by his staunch atheism even though I'm an atheist myself. The following book had the same effect, and it was written by an atheist with a strong Buddhist inclination (so my disagreement is quite unexpected, I guess):
I haven't read Susan Wolf's "Meaning in Life", but it doesn't look like something I'd appreciate. The best book ever on this topic is actually this one:
Contains arguments by theists, arguments by atheists contradicting the theists and (my favourite), arguments by sceptics saying everyone else is wrong, atheists included.
