I don't usually like to share tracks in this early stage of production, but I thought I'd throw it out there:
It's going to be filled with all kinds of tidbits later, but how's that basis working out?
Hur. So today was the first time I went back to this track since I posted this sample, started adding some stuff to it, and... well, it sounds completely different now and not at all how it was intended to be. But I actually like it better this way.
No new sample yet, but this is probably the first time I've made changes to a track I'm working on based on the comments I got in this thread.

that happens me quite a bit, start a track with a certain idea in mind, work on it for ages, decide that I don't like it and transform it into something completely different which is invariably better than where I started

Oh then here's an even more commercial slut track, mu haa
Thats got some funk to it Richard! Vocal chops could stand a little work and seem a little crispy. Other than that..dig it! Got a hard juke to it.
-------------------------------------------------
Started this last night, it's a very early hard wip. Still working the composition but liking the arrangement
(I think I have been listening to to much Eric Prydz)

have to say, the build up is epic - when it drops it slightly underwhelming for me, i think the kick could be a bit more punchier
just watch all your all mid-range stuff, youve got a lot of sounds there together but i love the melodies and the bass, if you improve the kick and tidy up the mix this could be really good, well done!

Should I lower the volume or use a transient design on the kick, i'm lost.
I added some BT like FM Buzz Sound with Lfo automation.

I expected something totally different at 1.17, up until then I had high anticipation, the part after is cool as well, just not what I expected
