I'm in the "Deadmau5 is good" camp. He produces very good tunes, and despite becoming quite mainstream in the past few years, his production quality has still stayed good...not something you can say about David Guetta.

I learned about Deadmau5 years ago from one of Clovis' very old mixes, circa 2006. He started the set with Faxing Berlin. My thoughts were immediately "this is a cool track, and I really dig the weird, radio/low-fi vocals through it. I'm going to buy this".
Pissed was I, when I bought the track, and there were no weird radio/low-fi vocals at all!
Clovis had thrown a nice [weird, radio/low-fi] a cappella over the track while mixing it. And it totally MADE the song.
I never bought another Deadmau5 track again
This is still my favorite EDM track of all time.

I used to not care for that track too much, but I love it now.

Deadmau5 can certainly produce good tracks. "Right This Second" is one hell of an intro track.
It's his image and fans that are annoying. He also shuns what it means to be a DJ since he comes solely from a producer background and his sets are essentially pre-programmed like a band's set would be.
But the man can produce, I'll give him that.
Here's "Right This Second", for reference:

No, of course not. I'm not going to disable 2 browser apps and part of the firewall to let youtubes in. Besides, we both full well know from years in the PDD forum that people who resort to using 50min's of youtube videos to substantiate their argument for anything, have a name.
