Speaking of snowboarding, the season sucks so bad so far....
I've been twice already, but its nothing great yet although BLue Mountain was pretty good last friday.
Last year I went like 16 times all over, I was planning on doing the same this season but Im not sure if this will happen + I got hockey games on sundays now.
I like Mcreek actually, i know its a small mountain but it has a variety + they opened up new stuff.
I get 50% off too over there cause of firefighter discounts.
The thing with Creek is, if you're a park rat, it's the best thing ever. It's cheap, and if you grab some weekdays to go it's usually pretty empty on south. One weekday there and you can progress your freestyle riding more then you would riding several days at any of the over packed destination mountains.
It's the place I go to ride alone and do speed runs one after another after another. I'll hit over 100 rails before lunch on some days, figuring during peak season they have lines that have about 10 jibs one after another and you can nail 10 runs in about 2 hours at a modest pace.
If you don't like park and/or can't ride off peak times (weekend late nights or weekdays before school lets out) it's a bit of a shitastic experience. I haven't even set foot on the north peak in two years.

She played a banging set when I saw her last April (it was the night I met Dave Martin, who I think is prob the most promising one of the DC djs), I really liked the music that night. Her style is def more on the progressive side though from what I've heard (I don't really follow her as much as my usual techno guys).
Her RA set is a vocal snooze-fest, perhaps that's to be expected of RA sets though. Her productions to me are pretty coma inducing too. A couple are catchy but then get annoying after hearing them more than a few time. I never got the hype.
What's a good banger of hers to look for?
I don't see how one can be pussy and not the other. I wouldn't be interested in either really if I were going out for a night of partying. Sunday night after a long day of activity, sure, either would do. I think I like the All Day I Dream style a little better though, a little more upbeat.
Also had no idea Dekay did so many different styles. He has some cheesy prog house stuff to some thumping tech house in the couple of years. Last I followed him was when I was crazy for this track back in the day when I was a wee raver http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLcTfkepDuk

These parties, well I can't really speak for Maya bc I don't really follow her, but as for Lee's events they're not intended to be a fri/sat night main event. He throws them either outdoor or at a rooftop, during the day and ending around dusk- perfect setting! I don't consider his style techno, at all...I'd lean more towards house if anything, but that word sounds a bit scary to me lol

Note I didn't talk about productions but dj sets I know of a few djs that play a different sound from their usual sound for productions. Maya did play a pretty awesome set that I shook my ass to all night. Lee doesn't really do that to me, esp that Saturday night I saw him @ Good Units recently, he had his moments but nothing notable, at least to me.
And yes, RA sets are def not party sets. I liked Maya's Essential Mix better for sure.
Off the top of my head, some of Maya's productions that I like are

LOL. I'm taking the rest of the weekend off though, I need it. I pulled my back this morning and I'm not happy about it, Percocet has been my friend today.
