No way. If it had to be one of the two, I would choose to lose hearing over eyesight.
Deaf people can still wander around with few problems (comparatively), and picking up lip reading shouldn't be that hard (I've worked in many loud nightclubs where you can't hear what the person is asking for to drink, so you learn to lip read very quickly).
Blindness though... yeah, fuck that. |
haha everyone always says that... I really prefer, and rely on my hearing more than my sight though...

I know right?
The visual sense is so much better than the auditory sense.
"Oh but waaaaaaaaaaahhhh, I can never listen to music again"
"Well, perhaps you should have listened to less then at a lower volume you fucking spastic"

it's partially about music, but more just about auditory sense, i definitely have an auditory memory more than a visual, and am reclusive enough already to just sit at home listening to audio-books, doing some music, and chilling out
If i didn't have hearing i seriously don't think i'd be able to navigate myself around the place well at all
oh i really should listen to stuff at a lower volume though haha

that, and if i ever totally lost my hearing, i could always glue two flipflops to a pair of subs hooked up to my setup and use them to beatmatch. it's been scientifically proven possible already. |
