I haven't used either one, but the MiniBrute looks pretty badass. I'd probably go with that over the BS2 if it was me.

Same prices and same number of keys! I'm going topsy turvy here.

Personally I would avoid Arturia like the plague. There are many reports of failing Minibrutes, I have had my own experience with their badly made products (minilab) as have several of my composing peers.

It's not that the products are badly made actually, it's that they are badly conceived, unfinished AND their support is as bad as support can be. Everything they release is beta, and never gets finished.

Yeah, like I said, I'd go with the Bass Station 2.

had my vandamme snakes quoted today....
damn.... they are EXPENSIVE
for the db25 snakes I for sure stay with Digidesign/Avid Digisnakes I ordered a few more so everything DB25 <>DB25 is now Digisnakes
I'm thinking of ordering vandamme only for the chain, but that sets me back 400GBP / 600$ just for 2 custom snakes.
Im pretty sure they won't give me a $600 better sound over digisnakes (got rid of the HOSA snakes now)

So If can resist it will stay AVID all the way, otherwise the vandammes will for sure look the dogs bullocks, but not sure they will actually make me take different mix decissions.

Fucking sweet. You literally could not have a better signal setup and unless you need different lengths, you'll never have to buy new cables again. I must admit, I'm kinda jeolous; I used to work for them and my setup isn't 100% pure Van Damme.

All terminated with neutrik black gold, custom labelled and resin coated soldering.
Was still an arm and leg, but it's the icing on the cake.
