Quite the opposite, We were losing so much money with the Saturday EDM night no matter what we did, multiple headliners etc.. Taj kicked butt and put his soul into it, but at then end we could not compete with a business model that has free guest lists on expensive nights, the club has too high a operating expense. if the trance crowd came out and supported the club we wouldnt have had to change the night.. We even tried splitting the club to see if another night in front would help with the shock of all the losses as we didnt want to change the format. In the end the night was losing even at times when we included the bar revenue.
Right now Fridays are doing better than ever before, with some of the most cutting edge electronic music on the planet. the club is finally getting written up again in the guardian, weekly, even the LA and NY press are starting to talk about the Friday nights. The saturday night is doing great as well..
1015 will continue to support all kinds of music weather its trance, breaks, house, dubstep, electro, latin, rock, glitch, whomp..
i doubt there will ever be a consistent edm night in the formats of before, just check the calendar you never know what might pop up..
Ohh and PVD has a whole new set and show.. and yes a new album getting ready to drop!!!
