lolololll story from my significant other, who is currently on a trip to Maine with her mom. Note: Lily is four.
quote:
"Oh my fcking god. We just saw a midget and lily pointed and screamed at him in the deserted hallway "he has a big head!"
"Horribly embarrassing and unbelievably hilarious. I have to have the talk with her while trying not to die of laughter while I hear mom cracking up in the bathroom"
"I mean, we walked out of the room, he was in front and Lily screamed LOOK MAMAW! He has a big head! You know how loud she gets when she's ultra excited"
"I looked at mom with saucer eyes and grabbed them both and pulled them into the room! Mom didn't see it and said "what?!" Looked out into the hallway and immediately lost her shit. Ran into the bathroom and howled like a freakin' spider monkey while I tried to give Lily the talk. I tried my best to give a straight face, I think that made her laugh even harder
response from a friend of mine:
quote:
and it reminds me of the time me and my mom were coming out of the grocery store and i pointed at a big fat black guy and said loudly "look mom there's Fat Albert"
ohhhh kids

I don't find that really funny at all? I mean its one thing for a kid to express fascination, another thing for grown people...

I was at a bar in Florida a few years back that featured midget tossing, and I thought it was fucking hilarious because essentially people would line up and pay to see how far they could throw this midget into an inflatable pool. The best part was that they put slip n slide carpet all in the front of the pool, so that when the drunks missed the midget would still slide into the water anyway. He was wearing a Super Dave style USA helmet and everything!!!
edit: and I'm sure that little fucker was in pain the next day, because those hillbillies were not exactly gentle with him. It was a few pig squeals away from Deliverance!
Too bad Sarah doesn't post here anymore, because she used to go to that bar

i've been to arena mexico in mexico city for lucha libre, and there was much tossing of the little people. fucking nuts.
throwing anyone around is funny, but i just don't think seeing a little person in a hallway merits a reaction like the adults had in that story.

I think you misunderstood (or I missed the joke). The grown people (my girlfriend and her mother) were both horrified and entertained in a "kids say the darndest things" kind of way. The adults weren't laughing at the little person.
