No, his lyrics aren't super meaningful. Generally speaking, they're fun and intentionally mutable: that's the talent behind his craft. He writes and sings music that a lot of people can somehow relate to, even though his particular inspiration was probably far, far different than most peoples' interpretations. Ruiner is about a former manager of his, for example, even though one could just as well derive that it's about the typical bitch-who-betrayed-me routine.
His concepts are pretty unfocused, and I wish he would make more earnest tries at actual concept albums, but just the same it's why he is pretty successful and popular and all of that noise. Though this Year Zero tv series in the works sounds like it's going to be fucking goofy as shit, if you ask me, so perhaps concepts are just not his strong point.
