I just did this set twice in a row getting used to my new equipment (2x CDJ1000 mk2s and a DJM500)

it was the end of my first week week making the switch from vinyl and an intermediate ableton stage. Totally satisfied mixing with the CDJ1000s. I feel like I really have the feel of vinyl and I have the bonus of cheap digital files, looping, hot cues, and of course harmonic mixing, and I really prefer mixing with my ears alone and getting close close close to the music.

note: my friend was celebrating his birthday at a small local club and I was kind of planning on busting in and playing something like this for him, but that didn't work out so I did it in my studio at home twice
