Seriously though, what is the point of supporting entire societies that are unable to sustain themselves at all...
Yea, it sucks if they die, but I mean... They are usually living in a situation where an early end is inevitable. I don't see how its a humanitarian effort if the children are going to grow up and continue to live in such squaller, reproduce, and start another generation of people that need 100% of their basic needs taken care of by someone else.
If these groups are being persecuted then why are we not doing something about the groups keeping them in this situation?
If the groups native homeland is no longer livable for whatever reason, why aren't we moving them someplace else?
It just seems entirely silly to support things that will NEVER get better and do not have chance of getting better.
Also, a lot of this charity comes at the hands of people wanting to proselytize the ones they help, which is pretty shit too.
