Its also harder to beat match without EQs, but I'm definately a better beat matcher because of it. Right now, I'm saving up for a VMX200 so I can finally start making some non bassy transitions.
Exactly. I have a shiat Gemini PMX-12A mixer and I can mix with it..., just makes it a lot easier when I do get a mixer with Eq's. I can't wait...hopefully in about 3 weeks or so.

I know dude, I probably own the absolute cheapest mixer on TA BUT, a new mixer and some new tables will be that much sweeter once I manage to start SAVING instead of SPENDING

I had an every shittier mixer... beleve me.
I had this:
I swear, it's THE most stupid, bad quality mixer you have EVER seen. If you move the volume control of channel 1, UNEXPLAINABLE, the sound of channel 2 rises... explain that
but, I recently baught the vmx300 and I'm happy with it

Does anyone here use a Dual CD deck?..I'm interested in seeing their setup.
Otherwise...some of you guys have amazing setups for your DJ gear. I'm very old-school and set something up in my basement...hopefully I'll get pics up sometime soon.

I've got to say...That's one uber-crazy set up Scottaculous. How much did that all cost?
