He deserves credit for finding Joey Diaz who is hilarious. I agree that he is quite unoriginal and does repeat the same old rhetoric. Having said that, he usually does have interesting guests which are definitely worth watching (Louis Theroux for example) so I am tempted by the click bait on youtube.

Another thing I noticed with him is I can't seem to help but think that at some point he will make a 180 on a lot of things he currently believes. For example, he admits that he believed the propaganda on pot that it makes you unproductive and brain dead. He claims he never started smoking until he was in his 30's when he found out the propaganda was BS. I heard him saying something similar about socialism and it was basically pro-western propaganda about how lazy people benefit and how the world is going to end when the government will take your pension. I'm literally counting the days until someone educates him and he ends up moving to Venezuela.

Isn't that a good thing? Intelligent people SHOULD question their beliefs.

I would think much less of him if he DIDN'T change his mind about things. That's what growth and learning are all about.

My main question is how the fuck do any of you find time to listen to long podcasts? Let alone several from various different sources.

Time you spend driving or exercising adds up. I sometimes even make time to read your long posts.

I agree with you in principle that yes, it is good that people question their own beliefs and become enlightened once they're exposed to the other half of the equation. My point is that I'd rather listen to someone more knowledgeable on topics brought up for discussion rather than someone who is obviously hasn't seen the every side of the argument. I realize it's a drastic example however, I could easily listen to Chomsky talk for an hour and even if I disagreed with him on something, my criticism would never be that his argument was not fully thought out or created prematurely.

For the record, I think Rogan is a pretty good guy and would do the right thing in most situations he was put in. I think his 180 turns would usually be for the best. He isn't Chritopher Hitchens who went from defending women's rights to defending Bush and Cheney.

Aww sucks. you'll make me blush!

I can't listen to spoken voice when exercising though - has to be 128bpm+ or no action.

You need a BPM counter to know what 128 sounds like?
